Art historian Aneta Georgievska-Shine of the University of Maryland will be in conversation with gallerist Robert Brown about Gallery Neptune & Brown’s current exhibition, William Kentridge: History, Politics, Memory, and Identity, as well as other works from Kentridge’s long and provocative career.

Hemphill Artworks is hosting an October 29, 10:00 am conversation between artists Julie Wolfe and Tim Doud on the occasion of Wolfe’s exhibition Opposing Forces, on view September 10 – October 29, 2022. Wolfe and Doud will walk visitors through the gallery to discuss the conception of Wolfe’s newest body of work and the sequencing of the artworks in this exhibition. Registration required.

Washington Printmakers Gallery:
The Washington Print Foundation is pleased to offer a one-year Associate Fellowship. The WPF Associate Fellowship provides a one-year membership at the Washington Printmakers Gallery, a thirty-seven-year stalwart on the Washington DC arts scene.This opportunity includes representation by a DC gallery, the ability to show your work, and a year working with the many experienced artists running this cooperative gallery. This fellowship supports an emerging artist for an Associate level membership, including all gallery dues. Artists who practice traditional and non-traditional printmaking and photography are encouraged to consider applying for this fellowship. Photographers, digital printmakers, 3-D printmakers, book artists, artists mixing methods such as sculpture, painting, and drawing with photography and printmaking are also welcomed to apply.
