Annual Meeting “Collectors’ Showcase”
Following on the success of previous years’ annual meetings, we will again feature a “collector’s showcase.” Up to six Print Club members will each share a work from their collection.
If you wish to present a work on paper from your collection, please use the button below to let us know. We will need to know the title of the work, the artist, the medium, and the year of its creation. If possible, please attach a photo of the work to your email.
Each member will have up to five minutes to tell us about the work and why it is a favorite.
Election of New Board Members
The Washington Print Club is fortunate to have two new candidates for the board of directors, Jacqui Crocetta and Amy Morton.
Jacqui Crocetta has worked in painting, sculpture, installation, and printmaking. Her practice aims to bring attention to the fragility of the human condition in the face of the global environmental crisis. Jacqui has exhibited her work regionally in multiple venues, has been awarded residencies at Virginia Center for Creative Arts, and has received Artists and Scholars Project Grants from the Arts and Humanities Council of Montgomery County, MD, and a Maryland Artists Grant from Maryland State Arts Council. In 2019, Jacqui was awarded recognition by Cornerstone Montgomery (the leading provider of mental health services in Montgomery County, MD) for her volunteer work supporting Studio In-Sight, a vocational program for artists living with mental health disorders.
Amy Morton is the founder of the DC-based art gallery Morton Fine Art. MFA’s mission is to provide accessibility to museum-quality contemporary art through a combination of exhibitions and a platform for dialogue and exchange of ideas. Amy has an extensive history of curating and advocating for contemporary art. Prior to establishing MFA in 2010, Amy was a gallery director and held positions at auction houses, art associations, and galleries in Los Angeles, CA and Boston, MA. Amy holds a BA in Art History from Occidental College in Los Angeles, CA.
