Cataloging the Prints and Drawings of
Surrealist Artist Yves Tanguy:
An Online Presentation by
Collector Bill Duncan
March 25, 11:00am
Online via Zoom and Open to All
Catalogues of artist’s works are a valuable resource for the art collector. Bill Duncan will discuss the considerations and challenges involved with compiling a catalogue of the drawings and prints by the self-taught French surrealist, Yves Tanguy. While Tanguy’s artistic career spanned only 30 years (ca. 1924 to 1954), he produced more than 1,000 drawings, 500 oils and gouaches, and approximately 33 etchings. Following a question and answer period, there will be a ten-minute slide show of the artist’s works.
This program will be online and open to all. Please register using the button below. You will receive a confirmation email from Eventbrite that will contain the Zoom link.
