Call for Submissions: “INK IT: Contemporary Print Practices.”
BlackRock Center for the Arts is now accepting online entries for consideration for the regional juried exhibition “INK IT: Contemporary Print Practices.” This exhibit is presented on a biennial basis and the juror this year will be Susan J. Goldman, an artist, master printmaker, curator, filmmaker and founding director of both Lily Press® and the Printmaking Legacy Project®. Open to both professional artists and student artists (reduced fee) in the Mid-Atlantic region (MD, DC, VA, PA, DE and WV) age 18+. Artists may submit entries for up to three works completed within the past three years (January 2018 – January 2021). Selected entries will be presented in a digital exhibition which will be on view from February 27 – April 10, 2021 on the BlackRock website and include a Virtual 3D Gallery. Awards will be selected by the juror and include First Place receiving a future solo exhibit at BlackRock.
