Both Washington Print Club Artist members are 2021 Independent Artist Award recipients, with this year’s awards focused on visual and media arts. Their artwork is also on display at BWI Airport until September 24th!

Susan has inspired by the ancient riddle of squaring the circle, an unsolvable, geometric puzzle. Her solution is artistic rather than mathematical.

Beverly’s response to drawing is that, once drawn, the drawing itself becomes an object. I work with its materiality – often cutting into it, often based on structures found in physics and mathematics.
