The small scale of Inglis’s work invites the viewer to have an intimate conversation with the objects. For Inglis, his work reflects observations in his surroundings. In abstracting from these memories, Inglis makes connections to emotions associated with the built environment. His painted wood sculptures playfully represent his systems of construction and are topped with vibrant colors.
