As a member organization, the Washington Print Club aims to provide educational programs, publications, resources, and member events of relevance, interest, and enjoyment.
One particular initiative will aid the board in its planning for the future: a comprehensive survey of the membership. Your feedback and ideas will improve the Club’s programs and resources and help broaden our membership base.
If you have not already completed the survey, please take a few minutes to do so. The information you provide will be confidential and viewed only by the Club’s board of directors. Please respond to the survey by Friday, February 11.

Save the Dates
Thursday, March 10, 11:00am, a conversation with Danielle O’Steen, curator of the exhibition Lou Stovall: On Inventions and Color at the Kreeger Museum. The program will be online and open to all. Saturday, March 19, 2:30pm, an in-person, members-only tour of the exhibition “Positive Fragmentation: From the Collections of Jordan D Schnitzer and his Family Foundation” with curator Virginia Treanor. The exhibition was organized by the National Museum of Women in the Arts and is on view at the American University Museum at the Katzen Art Center. You can learn more about it here.

The February edition of the Brooklyn Rail contains an essay by Ruth Fine, Printmaking Intentions and Aspirations about the role of printmaking in artists’ practices. The essay also serves as an introduction to a series of articles by contemporary printmakers. You can read the article here.
The catalog for Dennis Lee Mitchell’s recent exhibition of his smoke drawings, Infinite Musings, at the Tayloe Piggott Gallery is now online and available here.
Kate Lowman’s work will be included in the Washington Printmakers Gallery exhibition Common Threads, March 4 – 27.
