Visit to the Studio of Artist Elzbieta Sikorska

February 23, 2026

Date:
March 14, 2026
Time:
11:00 am - 12:00 pm

Please join us for a visit to the Silver Spring, MD home and studio of artist Elzbieta (Ela) Sikorska.

Ela shared: “I’ve been working on and with paper for a long time. In my presentation, I will focus mostly on drawings, along with examples of my occasional printmaking. I have also worked with papermaking, and in recent works, I collage compositions of artist-made paper and Arches watercolor paper, then draw on them. This series, still an ongoing project, is dedicated to exploring and gaining a deeper understanding of nature. I call it Invisible Landscape.”

Following a presentation that will take place on the first floor of Ela’s home, the group will be divided into two groups for visits to the second floor studio which is accessible only via stairs. Light refreshments will be served.

Attendance is limited to 12 WPC members and their guests.
