Please join us on Thursday, March 5, 9:30 am for a visit to the National Gallery of Art exhibition Mary Cassatt: An American in Paris with Rena M. Hoisington, Curator of Old Master Prints. Rena will discuss the artist’s groundbreaking prints and drawings, including a unique group of six works relating to In the Omnibus, in this intimate exhibition. More information here.
Afterwards the group will tour In the Library: Mary Cassatt’s American Legacy, an installation of archival photographs, rare catalogs, and documentation that explore the artist’s American ties, with Ellen Prokop, Image Specialist for French Art to 1900, and Elisabeth Narkin, Image Specialist for Architecture.
