This program is in-person and members-only
Please join us for an in-person visit to the Capitol Hill studio of artist Julie Wolfe. Julie will be sharing some of her latest work on paper, including her new book Wonderland: The Optical Unconscious, which is a collection of screen prints, archival prints, and off-set prints. The group will also have an opportunity to view Julie’s series of overprint, stained, and painted architectural rendering. In addition, Julie will offer a brief demonstration of the process used to create these works.
Also on view will be a new book (an edition of 200) that is currently being distributed in the U.K., Japan, and the U.S. The project is a collaboration between a photographer and Julie and employs analog photography, printing, and painting.
A selection of other works will be available for viewing, many of which will be in the Fall exhibition at HEMPHILL.
